Hi, I am new here and like to help out a bit...

Doing some searches on some of the missing online and came up with this on Dana from the DOE network...

Dana Zelic disappeared from her residence on August 30, 1999. She lived with her mother in an east-end apartment. Her mother last saw Dana sleeping in her bedroom at 2:30 a.m., August 30, 1999. When her mother woke later that morning, Dana was gone, leaving behind money and all her clothes. She left without any medication, identification or personal belongings.
Her whereabouts are unknown, although she has had connections to the Greater Toronto and Brooklyn, NY areas.
Dana was shown in a September 17, 1999 Spectator photo, walking in a Take Back the Night march.
Police were told she might have gone to Brooklyn, New York, but they found no proof she crossed the border.
Dana Zelic was heard from in August 2000, when she called a male friend in Hamilton, who had no idea she was missing. She told her friend she was living in Mississauga. In 2002, one of Dana's old girlfriends called police and said she had seen the young woman at Chapters.
Born and raised in Hamilton, along with her younger brother, Dana was a "so-so" student who enjoyed drama, had a good number of friends and a love of books. Dana graduated from Delta Secondary School and took a few years off to travel. Dana did enroll in a tourism program at a downtown vocational school. She lived with a boyfriend for a while, but when that didn't work out, she moved back into her mother's small east-Hamilton apartment. Dana had plans to get her own place, at the time of her disappearance.
Police checks have failed to locate Dana Zelic's whereabouts. Police are concerned for her well being.

Hopefully she is ok, perhaps does not want to be found.

Dana is still considered a Missing Person in Hamilton, as noted in a recent Spectator article.
