Brampton men charged in break and enters

Halton Regional Police have charged two men in connection to a series of break and enter incidents that occurred earlier this month in Halton Hills.
After this series of commercial entries was determined to be related to similar occurrences in Caledon, a joint investigation with the Caledon OPP resulted in the identification and arrest of two Brampton males.
The pair was arrested in Brampton on July 23 by Halton and OPP investigators in the Queen Street and Rutherford Rd. area while breaking into a stolen safe. Both were taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
In addition to the numerous charges laid by the OPP in Caledon, the two accused were formally charged in Milton Court on July 30 for the break and enter incidents in Halton Hills.
Terry Ercegovic, 31, is charged with six counts of break and enter, while 45-year-old Douglas Tavenor is charged with five counts of break and enter and five counts of fail to comply with probation.
Both parties are next scheduled to appear in Milton Court on Aug. 13.
