The poster claims missing since October 20, yet the FB info says Nov 17th and then a comment she was last seen the end of August. This is just a bit confusing.

You are so right SAP, unfortunately for this woman, it is confusing. I will take the one statement that she has been missing since August.

So, she left with her cats - how many cats?

Did she have carriers for them?

Did she have a car?  If so, what is her license plate number?  If not, she would of had to have either carried her cats, or walked them on a leash.

If no car, I doubt if she could have walked too far.

Who was responsible for her, ie - checking up on her? Or was no one needed?.

Was she on the verge of being evicted from her premises?

Has she disappeared before?

Did she suffer from depression?

Have their been any searches either by police or others?

I think that it is wonderful that she has a friend, and a church group who includes the missing person poster on their bulletins.   However, if she is to be found, more info must be given; It does not have to be too personal. ie did she leave in a car - etc, etc,.

Confused messages to the public, should never be given.

Just seeing a face on a poster in the City the size of Calgary - needs much more to locate her.

jb
ps.  I have not seen her facebook page set up for her.

Valerie is listed as missing by CPS FB site (a commenter) and Twitter and Missing People of Canada FB ... much the same wording as above. Absolutely nothing posted by police themselves. There seems to be no information other than what was posted above.
