Peel Police - Missing Male From Mississauga Hospital

Mississauga - 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau officers are searching for a man who left the care of the Trillium Hospital. Police hope to locate this male and are appealing for the public's assistance.

John Donald PATTERSON, 56 years of age, was last seen on Saturday August 18, 2012, at Trillium Hospital where he was receiving medical attention. For reason unknown to investigators, Mr. PATTERSON left the facility and has not been seen since.

Mr. PATTERSON is described as male white, 5' 10" tall, 200 pounds with short brown, greying hair. He has a barbed wire tattoo on his upper left arm. Mr. Patterson was last seen wearing white shorts, a black jacket and black sneakers.

Police are concerned for Mr. Patterson's safety and his ability to care for himself. He has left without his required daily medication. He has family and associates in destinations that range from Burlington, Montreal and Winnipeg.

Police find missing hospital patient

 Police have found a patient who went missing on Saturday afternoon from a local hospital where he was receiving medical attention.
 John Patterson, 56, was found by police in Hamilton yesterday. He was in good health.
 Patterson was last seen at the Trillium Health Centre, near Hurontario St. and The Queensway.
He left the hospital for unknown reasons and police were concerned because he didn't have his daily medication with him.
 Patterson has been reunited with his family, Peel Const. Erin Cooper said this morning
