Why are many people unwilling to provide tips to police that could solve a murder?

Sounds like she was going to a friend's house and never came home. Wasn't reported missing till the 3rd.

She was found safe and sound last Friday.

Saskatoon police are thanking the public after missing 13-year-old girl Linda Asaad was found safe on Friday.

She was reported missing Jan. 3 after last being seen Dec. 31 last year, and police sought public help on Wednsday.
