I had no idea this many young women are missing in the GTA.
What is it about Caledon and the Uxbridge area, over the years this area and close surrounding have resulted in so many murders and the discovery of homicide victims.

Wow, average one or more missing teenagers/young women in the GTA per month over the course of the past year. It would be worth knowing if that is considered much higher than in the past. I do know that girls are statistically more likely to be abducted than boys and that Toronto is a bit of a dangerous place historically if only because of the large population.

Deeds. here is a synopsis of the GTA police services and the listings on their web sites. I have not been able to update it much for 2011. I left both males and females to show that there seems to be more males than females missing/murdered. The females I highlighted in red, some are outside of your age range, but it will allow you to compare teen females to female toddlers and seniors, as well to determine whether you feel the teen age is an anomaly. Almost all of these have a file on this site, as well as the police service listed if you want to further investigate whether their remains are found in rural areas, hair color/length.

Hope this helps.

One thing I find interesting is that to get to Uxbridge, ON and Caledon, ON from Toronto the fasted route it the 407, so... It wouldn't be out of the question to look at the 407 receipts and non-transponders photos from both nights the victims went missing and see if there are any cars seen on both days... yes there is other ways to get to both places without the 407 but I think it worth a try...?

You know Deeds, Cassandra Jesus has been missing since October 5, and this is the first I have heard of it.   Then we go down east to a small town called New Glasgow and they are up in arms looking for Amber.  Some say there are those down east going overboard, but you know, I think I would rather see that then this APATHY in GTA.  For a city of what 3 million?  Hardly anyone says a word.  It truly is a sad state of affairs.

jobo I think the reason you don't see the out pour in GTA area is there thousands of runaways every day in that area so most of the time it never even hits the news so people are not aware unless there are unusual circumstances.  Or if it does it is a small article bared in the news paper. Police in toronto wont even take a missing persons for a teenager unless there is unusal things as they consider them all runaways.
