Carol Nora King - Missing - August 6, 2011 - Herschel, Sk
debbiec:
Hi beautifulsis. Are you positive that that your sister has been reported missing to police? In light of what you've said about her being stalked by an ex, I'm hoping the police take this seriously. One would think they would have asked for vehicle description and license plate number.
Also curious as to what has been done to get the word out in her community. Do you know if anyone has/will be putting posters up?

Carols car is a silver pt cruiser with the licence plat 560 GZX. The police have notified other detachments in the area and her car and licence plate is in the system.

I don't think she has been reported missing to the police as there are no police bulletins that I can find. Mybeautifulsissy, you say that she was "up there alone", where is up there. ? Did she live on an acreage, did she live outside of Rosetown? Did she work?
When was the last time you heard from her? - or when has any family member heard from her? Does she have a cell phone?
We are trying to help, and we feel your panic.
PEACE
JB

No the police havent reported her missing, only put her name and car in the system. Im not happy with the way they are handling things , Im going to the news and newspapers tomorrow to get it out there. Im also going to be putting up flyers in every town I can think of. She lived on an acreage just 2 miles of her ex..the one who was stalking her. Not working at this time. Last heard from her on Saturday at 4pm Sk time. Her cell phone is off which is very unusual.

There are a number of guests on this website looking at this thread already, and this is good - the word is getting out there a bit. You or her Mom has to file a missing police report. The police do not file one - a family member has to file one. Are you under the RCMP? I would go to the RCMP detachment and file a missing person report. That way, they can appeal Province wide. I would do that first, and then hit the newspapers.
