There's very little to no info on this case per Google. Probably only 3 hits and one is a blog where the owner claims one suspect has been incarcerated but police are still looking for another. It has been 6 years and nothing more.
I'm stunned that in Manitoba there are so many missing without further mention, more so than any other province that I have noted.

Someone has been arrested for this crime, they have not identified the suspect, stating he was 18 at the time of the crime.  The RCMP are having a news conference tomorrow.  Hopefully this news will help Carl and his family to heal a little.  Congratulations to the RCMP...Good Work!!!  WOW..

As of February 2, 2012, as per the article posted above, this crime was unsolved. If there has been an arrest in this case it must have been very recent. Can you tell us where you got this information, tips.needed? Possibly provide a link?

A whole lot of searching but I found it: ( her name was spelled wrong in the heading here on unsolved.)

Thank you for posting the article Trouble.

I've corrected the spelling of Chantelle's name.

Apparently the 24-year-old man who has been arrested and was charged with this murder can not be named.
He was 17 years old at the time.
He was arrested at Prince Albert jail where he was serving time.
