I wonder if this guy had anything to do with the death of 16 yo Tasha Lavigne, too.

Ontario Provincial Police have released a sketch of a person they believe was involved in two sexual assaults in area hotels.

At about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, a man sexually assaulted a young girl in an elevator at the Hampton Inn in Napanee, police say.

A similar sexual assault took place on another young girl in a corridor at the Holiday Inn, in Quinte West, on Dec. 11, 2009.

In both incidents the children were not alone, but were with other children.

Police say the composite may not be an exact rendering, as the witness is a young person.

The suspect is described as a clean shaven, white male in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about six-feet tall and thin with a noticeable belly. He also has short dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a dark coat, a hoodie type sweater and blue jeans during the Napanee incident.

Napanee and Quinte West OPP crime units are investigating under the direction of Det. Insp. Chris Nicholas of the Criminal Investigations Branch.

Police are encouraging the person responsible to turn himself in.

Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to call Napanee OPP at 613-354-3369 or Quinte West OPP at 613-392-3561 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

The OPP are also reminding everyone to always practice personal safety.

Parents and caregivers are reminded that children need adult supervision and they should know where their children are at all times.
