Is a Child's Life Worth Less?
« on: May 01, 2011, 03:42:50 PM »
This guy got 5.5 years for beating his six month old son to death because the baby defecated on him while he was changing him. Is this baby's life worth less in crime punishment than if an adult was beaten to death for a senseless reason? Is killing his own child less of a crime than killing someone elses?

LLOYDMINSTER - A Lloydminster, Sask., man was sentenced to 5.5 years for beating his six-month-old son to death because the infant defecated on him while changing his diaper.  Initially charged with second-degree murder, James Andrew Larose, 25, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Nov. 19, 2010.  (QMI)
