Frozen body found on side of road
By QMI Agency
February 2, 2011

EDMONTON - A man's body was found frozen on the side of the road near a town east of Edmonton, police say.

Mounties were called to the scene about 7:30 a.m. Monday, about 10 km south of Mundare.

The body was discovered by a person passing through the area on Township Road 522.

An autopsy hasn't been scheduled because the medical examiner must wait for the body to thaw.

Police said they consider the death suspicious.

Mundare is about 80 km east of Edmonton.
