Thank you for your post about Tasha!! For a brief period in my life, I too observed lovely fresh young ladies coming and going to purchase drugs in my neighbourhood. I got very upset, and turned every license plate number in, and the drug detective of whom I made the time to go to the station to talk to up front and to his face,( not by a  lazy phone call) I worked with him for close to 5 month's  It  made such a difference. Kept in touch with him on a constant basis.  Turned more dealers in, through license plate number, location, and time etc.  Glad I did it!!
I was  warned by him, that it is a dangerous process, but I didn't give a damn. The drugees were just as much afraid of me, as I was of them. But it worked out in societies favour!!
Take care, just for today~!~!

I don't know what is worse ... a missing loved one, or finding that a missing loved one has been murdered. It's too final and yet the closure is needed.

Gumpslou, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.  :'(  RIP Natasha.

From the link of Shadow girl:

A 21-year-old man who is already charged in the slaying of a 15-year-old girl has now been charged in the deaths of three women, say RCMP in Prince George, B.C.

Cody Legebokoff was charged in late 2010 with first-degree murder in the death of Loren Donn Leslie, 15, whose body was found on a remote logging road just off Highway 27 near Vanderhoof, B.C., last November.

On Monday, police announced Legebokoff is now facing three new counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Jill Stacey Stuchenko, Cynthia Frances Maas and Natasha Lynn Montgomery following a 10-month investigation.

Legebokoff is being held at the Prince George Regional Correctional Centre.

At a news conference in Prince George, attended by members of the media and representatives from local First Nations communities, police said they believe Legebokoff acted alone.

Police said the investigation was "far from over," as investigators are looking for witnesses and additional victims.

It's believed Legebekoff used the internet and social media websites to meet women, frequently using the online name 1CountryBoy, and he lived in Lethbridge, Alta., from June 2008 to 2009, said police.

Deaths date back to 2009

Stuchenko, 35, was found dead in a gravel pit off Otway Road, on the outskirts of Prince George, in 2009.

Montgomery, 23, originally from Quesnel, was reported missing in August 2010. Her body has not been found, but police say they are working hard to locate her remains.

Maas, 35, went missing in September 2010. Her remains were found in L.C. Gunn Park, in a remote area of Prince George, the following month.

Leslie's body was found just off Highway 27 in November 2010.

Police have not revealed how Leslie died, but her remains were sent to the United States for investigation by a specialist.

Leslie, who was visually impaired, was a Grade 10 student at Nechako Valley Secondary School in Vanderhoof.

Earlier this year, police interrogated more than 140 Prince George taxi drivers in connection with the deaths of Maas and Stuchenko.

The manager of P.G. Taxi told CBC News at the time that all of his drivers had been interviewed by police and asked for DNA samples as part of an investigation into several murders.

Difficult time for families

In a written release, RCMP Insp. Brendan Fitzpatrick said the victims' families have been notified.

"It was evident by our meeting ... these women were all very vibrant, talented and loving. They were all mothers, daughters, and aunts and possess large extended families who miss them tremendously. The families request privacy at this very sad time," said Fitzpatrick.

"We also respect news of this development and the charges will be met with mixed emotions by the community. These are difficult and complex investigations that require a dedicated team of resources. This group and particularly the RCMP remain committed to ensuring justice is delivered."

Fitzpatrick said police are limited in the amount of information they can release, but he confirmed police executed two search warrants at Legebokoff's home during the course of the investigation.

"It was a combination of many factors, along with a dedicated team of investigators that has brought us to the point where these additional three charges can be laid," Fitzpatrick said.

Anyone with any information is asked to call a special tip line that has been established for the case at 1-877-987-8477.

For those who suspected a serial killer of some sorts in the Prince George area, it seems that for some of these stories, including Natasha's, there was indeed.     If anyone has any information on this psychopath, I'm sure the police would appreciate it.  His age would lead me to believe he is not responsible for all of the missing women in northern BC, but at least the police appear to have connected 3 of them

Prince George RCMP have made a breakthrough in the investigation surrounding three cold case murders.

Twenty-one-year old Cody Alan Legebokoff has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of 35-year-old Jill Stacey Stuchenko, 35-year-old Cynthia Frances Maas, and 23-year-old Natasha Lynn Montgomery.

Jill Stuchenko was reported missing to police on October 22, 2009. Her body was found four days later in a gravel pit in the outskirts of Prince George.

Cynthia Maas was reported missing by her friends on September 23, 2010. She was not found until October 9 of 2010, when her body was discovered in a park in a remote area of Prince George.

Natasha Montgomery, originally from Quesnel, B.C., was reported missing the same day as Cynthia Maas. Her body was never recovered.

It took investigators ten months of painstaking work and the help of a forensic specialist from the United States to link the three murders to one suspect.

Cody Alan Legebokoff was arrested on Friday at the Prince George Regional Correctional Center where he is currently awaiting trial in the 2010 homicide of 15-year-old Loren Donn Leslie from Fraser Lake.

Police believe there are others out there that may have been in contact with Legebokoff or his victims and may assist in the investigation.

Legebokoff is described as a 21-years-old, Caucasian male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 220 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was driving a Black 2004 GMC ½ ton pickup truck.

Police say he was an avid user of social media and often used nick “1CountryBoy” to correspond with friends, associates, potential girlfriends and others.

They are asking anyone with any information, in particular between the time period of October 2009 and November 2010, to call a special Tip Line at 1-877-987-8477 (TIPS).

Noooo....don't tell us he wouldn't say where Natasha is.  What a horrible man.
No matter what others say, he is one sick individual, and he has proven that.

Exactly, how do you go about convincing him to do that though? There must be a way to get him to talk. Olsen went to his grave without divulging but this guy is young, there are better informed people now who may know how to work him. They need to be found and a procedure initiated. Otherwise, just string him up and be done with him in my books.

I was thinking the same, D1.   This is where the profilers could help, or a real good detective, used to interviewing.
There has to be a way to get him to talk, like you say, D1, he is young.

How about Good Cop/Bad Cop type of Interview?
