From RTL/Netherlands

From the Dutch news, the OM in Holland has just announced that Joran is oficially the murdersuspect in the murder of the Peru girl.

Joran amd the girl left the casino together after which she was found dead (stabbed to death) in Joran's hotelroom.

He was seen fleeing the country in a pick up truck at the border of Chili. (allegedly he was in the company of Russians)

The girl was brutally murdered (stabbed to death)
.

The girl's father is a well known business man and car coureur, in his emotional plea he urges peoiple to seek Joran.

There is International search warrant issued for Joran, this was just announced by the OM.

All per RTL news.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Initially on these threads I left a link for an E-line book, No Evidence of a Crime, which has been put together by a person/poster who has gotten close to the van der Sloot family after Natalee going missing. The author and a small group of friends have protected Joran and mislead people with their propaganda.
Anyone perusing the book...articles in there are the only things that can be considered unbiased; whatever the author has added about her "Joran" are totally biased.
Stunning! Just stunning!
It is so sad that it came to this, just a day after the 5 year anniversary of his last killing.
Why did they not prosecute this creep?
Life in prison in Prison Peru is better then 10 years in prison in Holland though and I cannot wait to see him arrested.
this makes me angry
IMO and that of many others, corruption in paradise is the reason Joran got off free. I have a hard time believing he's one of those once in every 5 years serial killers...he's been lucky to have had someone get him off the hook before. This time he's running. The time of death, the time stamp on the cams lead to him.
Aruba will have to come clean as the eyes of the world once again envelope them. Joran is a Dutch national, not even Aruban. The case has been hard on the total of the Aruban population (the born and raised Aruban). The Prosecutors and Judges are all Dutch nationals as well. They can't protect him anymore. My heart goes out to the beautiful young lady and her family.
Makes me wonder if Joran is a serial killer.  I would think the Arubans will look at any other unsolved murders of young women, long and hard again.   He got away with murdering Natalee in Aruba, but this time I believe he has sealed his fate.  And it better be life in prison.  It is very sad another young woman has lost her life to this sick man, because justice was not served to begin with.
I probably shouldn't speculate this far, however it was mentioned before so i will continue. A few years ago an Aruban went missing in Aruba as well. This young man, can't remember his name right now, worked at the Kia jail, and had hopes to go to further education in law. He disappeared as well without a trace. He was known to be working at the Kia when Joran was incarcerated there in Nov 2007 for a week or two. What we had learned after joran was released is that he was not supposed to have any contact with the outside, no compu's and no cells...yet someone that was perusing a facebook type of site saw Joran trying to get a hold of someone else, whilce he was in Kia and while he was not to have contact with anyone. There is a screenprint around of that. As well in one of Joran's confessions, he stated his own father brought him a cell phone while in jail and called his father down for only providing him a few minutes worth of calls. His father was not to have anything to do with joran at the time since he was in a position of conflict from the beginning (his work). The speculation at the time was that Joran's dad may have asked the young Aruban to give the phone to Joran on some kinds of promises; and further this may have been another worry, that the young Aruban was "disappeared" to make sure all was kept quiet. Now this was all specualtion by someone else. The young fellow disappeared after Joran was discharged from jail.
I really do believe that now all missing cases will be looked at; they won't have a choice.
I really don't want to see the Arubans suffer again over this.
It was just noted on the news that Vandersloot is a suspect in a murder of a young woman from Peru. She was found in a motel room covered in blood. She was last seen with Vandersloot at a casino and it was caught on surveillance. He has ran to Chile. This was just on the evening news. This is one bad person and maybe this time the charges will stick and the playboy murderer will be convicted of his crimes. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
It really is pathetic that the police had Vandersloot in their clutches many times. He was behind bars and out again a couple of times, they had him right there. There definitely was enough evidence to hold him, even with circumstantial evidence there was plenty. Now another young woman is dead, because the prosecutors made a big mistake and set V free. This is police work at it's worst. I do blame the police for the young woman's death. If they had done their job, this innocent woman would be alive. And what was Vandersloot getting away with before Natalee Holloway was murdered??? How many young woman are missing in Aruba or any place that Vandersloot was on his crime spree.? I would say there are possibly more young women missing and murdered at the hands of this creep. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Cape, before Natalee he was into mischief type of crimes that got overlooked. Breaking car windows, setting off fire alarms. At a young age, he killed a family dog just to blame it on another school kid. The family tried to hush that all up. Sadly, that doesn't work well. I guess they were too proud to deal with a problem. By age 17 he was already a regular in casinos. He has become calculating and he sure seemed to know where to flee to this time.
Chile LE has announced they are not looking for Joran and they will not arrest him!! :o I have no idea at this point if even Interpol is involved as it first was mentioned. Reports are so confusing! So the Chile LE know where he is but won't arrest! Relations between Chile and Peru must not be very good, I suppose.
I just hope Flores' father has good connections. If not, Joran van der Sloot the murderer is a free man.
As far as the Aruban system goes, they have Dutch law. Joran's father was up in the ranks with the Justice department and friends with head of police, which some were Dutch as well. The judges that come from Curacao are also Dutch. Many believe there was corruption and cover-up for his family. No proof. The re-investigations of the case of Holloway according to them, yielded nothing.
A Peruvian Judge gave orders for Joran's arrest, and he is supposedly now arrested. Was found near the airport. He's the one right under the red and white flag or whatever that is. He's not even shackled. :o There must be a huge contingent of LE then...
If this scum walks this time then I will finally agree with vigilante practice..
Glad this dirtbag was caught
Does anyone watch Greta on Fox? I remember she talked to a high ranking police official on the Island and he said there wa enough to charge Jordon but would have to wait for the powers that be to move forward. Jordon had ocnfessed at that point.
I don't know if polie screwed this up more then Dutch Island power brokers helped this little creep get away with it by not charging him????
But I hope those same people who choose not to prosecute feel very bad now. Very very bad. This little punk felt he could get away with anything.
Prediction: Those saw, power brokers will now charge Jordon and expect to extradite him, put him on trial becuse:
1 - Save face
2 - Make sure he serves his time in Holland rather then Peru.
I hope Peru declines
Flores' father seems to be well read on Joran and how he got away under the Dutch antilles system; so I don't think he will stand for allowing Joran to escape to Aruba where he is safe and free to commit another crime. Looks as though Flores has some "pull". Thank God. Joran committed the crime in Peru, lots of evidence, and that's where he will stay hopefully.
I hope he does his time there. I really do.
But I remember a few years ago, when there was a woman in prison in Mexico and the media rallied he cause so she can be moved to Canada. It was horrible, it was is if they were saying Mexico is too third world for a Canadian woman. And then we let her out of prison as soon as she got here. I'm sure Holland is going to do the same to Peru.
I really hope he stays and serves in Peru. Those prisons will be what he deserves.
As soon as anyone in Peru reads over all the statements and the coverage from what Antilles LE did, they will not allow it. The crime happened in Peru and that is where he has to pay his dues. I'm sure Peru officials will see the cover up and all the corruption. If Natalee died from convulsions or any other means, there was no reason to disappear her. She disappeared for good reason, and that was probably a broken neck like he administered to Flores, imo.
Below, a better look at the scumbag!
