Question:

Why are many people unwilling to provide tips to police that could solve a murder?

If Abigail worked in a Nightclub, I hope the police have taken a good look there at the customers.  Someone she recognized from the club could have offered her a ride, and it went bad from there.  Some patron may have taken a 'shine' to her, in a bad way.

I think your absolutley right on that one. That would probably be the best place to start. I really think her parents should be pushing for that one. Maybe there could be some video footage in the nightclub. Hopefully the've checked it all out.

I understood she just went to a friend's place that evening. I wasn't aware she worked in a nightclub. Of course, this throws a whole different light on what could have happened to Abigail. She was a pretty young woman and the fact that she was certainly a little taller then most girls, she should have been able to take care of herself. Maybe she knew some things that were going on in the place she worked, anything could be the reason she is missing. ??? ??? ??? ???

Thanks Desespere,

I was thinking there would be something more recent. It's O.K. though, I'm glad there isn't. I'm thinking, young, beautiful, sex trade or baby making machines. I think whoever took Abigail, judging her size and weight had to have had some help.

Des, that is quite a few missing and not know what has happened in these cases. It would be nice to know if anything further was found on these missing women. There might have been a plot to get Abigail in a place where nobody could help her. It seems strange that she had plans to meet someone and then never be seen again.  Great strides should be done at this early stage of her disappearance to find out what has happened to Abigail. How can someone just disappear without a person knowing something. It must be very traumatic for Abigail's family. They should get out there and do some detective work themselves, especially if the police are not answering any questions on who is investigating the case and what is being done to find out what has happened to her. ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

I live in Fort St John, and have had this most lovely individual serve me pop in the pub.  She works (yes Im using this current tense as her job is in no danger of being lost, it is always there for her) for a very reputable country/western bar.  reading through some of the past posts here the main immigrant population up here is russian/german/south african.  Abby still has not been found :( not a trace :(.  She is a very caring soul and I can see that she would help someone who meant to do her harm.  She was not nieve though and is very picky and careful about her friends and aquaintances.  We are still actively putting posters up and keeping her name in the media as there is very little for us to go on.

I took a look at the facebook blog. A beautiful striking woman with wonderful friends and strangers helping to find Abigail. A very blessed young woman indeed. Since this woman is a head turner and can not be missed, someone had to have seen something. Even if they realize they did not know what they were seeing at the time as important, hopefully someone will recall something and inform the police, or someone else who will take it upon themselves to do so. My prayers for Abigail, her family and friends.

Bodies of water near Fort St. John - Charlie Lk. - Cecil Lk. 2 rivers, one south of Alaska Hwy.97 & one North W of F.S.J. Have a look, go to Google Map, it will show you the whole area.

Who was the friend Abigail was going to see??? That is what is indicated when she went missing, she went to see a friend. It sounds like a very bad ending here for Abigail. No stone should be unturned to check every detail of what she did the day she disappeared. Family members and friends should go from A to B and check out everything. The detective working on this case should be known to the family. He should be telling them what he is doing to solve this case. So much time has gone by and nothing. We are going into almost two months since her disappearance, it is time to panic. ??? ??? ??? ???
