Oh Sleuth, I am so sorry for all the pain you and your family have experienced with the murder of your sister Tasha. I have read many times that in losing a sibling at a young age, you also lose your parents.  You have been through so much and I understand your feelings of fear and worry.

Thank you for having the courage to express your feelings.  Biggest hugs!

Sleuth, sorry, I just realised too late, as I hit post, this was not a personal story.  I feel like such a dumb ass!  Biggest hugs anyway!

That's okay amIam, don't worry about it, I should have clarified at the beginning of this young woman's story that it was her journey and not mine. A dear friend bought me a book, 'The Lovely Bones' by Alice Sebold. It is so beautifully, breathtakingly written that I would advise anyone who has lost a loved one to a missing/murdered family member to please pick it up and read it. You will see a reflection of yourself within the words.

It appears some that come to this site are looking, or grieving, for a lost loved one. Whether missing or found, still have unanswered questions. I'm still struggling with how to cope. It is not an easy topic for me. I only know that the day she went missing, it changed so many lives, forever. What can be done tomorrow would be easier if I could find peace. Today, I wished I could talk to her. I want to know if she is ok now. Like yesterday, I haven't found the answer. I wonder how many others, sometimes feel the same.

I did, though, find messages that some people cared to share. I'm putting it out there, in case it helps comfort another that may be looking for some answers, too.  I hope you find them.
