ROCKY HARBOUR - Authorities continue to search for Ian Humby in Gros Morne National Park.

Humby is described as 5'10", 150 pounds, with a thin build, reddish blonde hair, red beard and blue eyes.

His sister reported him missing Tuesday to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook. He was last seen in the city Monday at 11 a.m. He may be wearing a baseball cap and dark clothing.

Morrison said his car, a grey 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier with Alberta licence plate EVK 473, was reported found in the parking lot near the base of Gros Morne, so that's where search efforts are focussed.

I knew Ian personally and I have not seen him since 2006. I know he had some mental health issues accompanied by suicidal thoughts. Was a search not conducted in the water at Gros Morne?
