The RCMP ?J? Division Major Crime Unit South and Codiac Regional RCMP General Investigation Section / Major Crime today charged a 38-year-old man in connection with two murder investigations that date back four and 17 years.

Maybe he will plea bargain for leniency and give up the location of Cheryl's remains?

Does anyone know if Cheryl Pyne was related to Katyhryn (Kathy) Diane Pyne (also known as Kathryn "Kathy" Weiner) who was last seen May 12, 3005 and body discovered on May 17, 2005? I wonder if they had the same last name for a reason, and if this perp could be considered in Kathy's death.

check this story in this article, on SAP's post there is a part that says

Pyne worked in Moncton as a prostitute and was last seen in June 2004. Her mother was slain the following year.
so I'll take a guess and say Kathy was her mother? And Kathy's obit says she has a daughter Cheryl. See Kathy's thread for obit.

What are the chances of a mother and daughter both being murdered one year apart? Is there a connection?
