I think he is still alive and living in NFLD with the woman juror who deadlocked the Mindy Trans case, and got him off.  I think it's Olsen who died ... might be wrong about that because I missed almost a year of keeping track on this site.  What say you D1?

Clifford Olson died of cancer in 2011. As far as I know Murrin is still alive.

Attention directed at any case from any source forces action. Whether the car holds evidence or not, it got things moving.. Now they have a new dna profile due new testing procedures. How many other cases could benefit from the same?

To find this being done now in this case under the circumstances warrants scrutiny. It can exonerate like no other means yet may not provide any more answers. Very convenient if it does not produce a suspect. The public will be silenced. As noted lawsuits are already flying..

It is amazing how fast some police forces can make a move to solve a crime with public pressure.

And as to Murrin, is he behaving himself or still the pathological liar, braggart and sociopath that he always was?  A small time drug dealer, bully and snitch?
Or - is he a possible serial killer as some people claim?
