identifying a suspicious man seen in the community of Mount
Royal.

On Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at approximately 3:20 p.m.,
a teenaged girl was approached by a man while waiting at the
bus stop in the 1400 block of 17 Avenue S.W.
The suspicious
man asked her to go and get a drink with him. She refused,
but he continued to ask and make inappropriate comments. She
ran from the bus stop and waited with a friend, who she saw a
short distance away, and then returned to the stop when she
believed the man had gone.

She boarded the bus and saw that the man was on the same bus.
He later got off at the same stop as the girl and followed
her to her apartment. The following morning, the girl got off
her bus on 17 Avenue and was walking to school when she
noticed the same man
wearing the same clothing as the day
before. He followed her to school, where she ran inside and
told the principal.

The suspicious man is described as Caucasian, in his late
20s, approximately 5'10" to 6' tall, with a slim build, dark
blonde hair, green eyes and a quarter-sized birthmark
surrounded by two moles on the right side of his cheek/jaw

area. He was wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans and white
sneakers and was carrying a yellow jacket in his hand.

Police are investigating two sexual assaults in southeast
Calgary that appear similar in nature.

On Monday, October 22, 2007, at approximately 6:00 a.m., a
woman in her early 60s was waiting for a bus in the 9400
block of Fairmount Drive S.E.
A man ran towards her, then
grabbed and forcibly fondled her.  She screamed and pulled
away from the suspect, who fled eastbound on Arbour Crescent.
S.E.

The suspect is described as being 30-40 years old,
approximately 5?9? tall, with a medium build and medium
complexion. He was clean-shaven and described as having round
cheeks.
The suspect was wearing a dark ball cap, a dark,
medium-length jacket and dark pants.

This incident is similar in nature to one that took place in
mid-September, however police have not determined whether the
same individual is involved in both incidents.

On Monday, September 17, 2007, at approximately 7:40 a.m., a
woman in her 30s was waiting for a bus in the bus shelter at
Heritage Drive and Fairmount Drive S.E. She noticed a man
standing outside the shelter in the rain. He eventually
entered the shelter and stood behind her.  He then grabbed
her from behind and fondled her. The suspect then fled
southbound behind the Acadia Dental Clinic in the 8300 block
of Fairmount Drive S.E.

In this case, the suspect is described as 20-30 years old,
5?9? tall, approximately 180 lbs., with a medium build. He
had brown hair, was clean-shaven
and was wearing a navy blue
ball cap, grey fleece sweater and faded blue jeans.

Anyone with information about either of these incidents is
asked to call police at 266-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800
-222-TIPS (8477).
