The killer of Rachel Quinney has to be found, the sadistic creep, plus friends have to be caught!!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

What was done to Rachel, was so demented, perverted, and reeks of torture! The mutilations, and the sheer apathy in what was done to her by the killers. I will still say killers, as there is more working at this killings, that are still OUT THERE doing their perverted crap, over, and over.

All our missing and murdered women, and kids, as well as men need justice, and their killers found. I am inclined to slowly believe that over goat may be right, altho" he may have the wrong group.

Overgoat"( from Medley thread)
-someone is paying to kill women, and the HA are providing the killers the women and then disposing of the bodies

-someone is paying to torture women, and the HA are providing the torturers the women, and then killing them to shut them up and disposing of the bodies

-the women are being used for HA snuff porn/torture porn, and then killed

- someone is buying human flesh to eat

- some women are being killed to conceal information that they have, so they are used in all of the above scenarios"
********************************************************
Where are Delores Browers, Corrie Ottenbreight, Jeannie Gingras, and so many more missing?Where are their bodies? Is Jeannie still alive? I hope that Jeannie, went nuts after disappearing, with out her medication, so she is in some hospital somewhere.Jeannie, I think of you daily, and your many friends, do also.Who killed Brianna Torvalson, left again in the Sherwood Park area, where so many gals have been found.

Chris or Des, I can't find a map of the body sites, if anyone has one, can you please put up. I will continue to search, also. :'( :'(

It will help all newcomers who have just learned of all these crimes. ??? ???

Thankyou, and hugs to all family members, and friends, and those of us who care deeply for the injustices done over so many years, and for the First Nation Peoples who have lost so many, as well as others. :'(  :'( >:( >:( >:(

GUILTY of the deaTH OF tHERESA iNNES, AND acquitted OF RACHEL QUINNEY"S  DEATH~~~

 By TONY BLAIS, COURT BUREAU

Charlotte Lajimodiere reacts with disappointment outside the courthouse yesterday to a not-guilty verdict handed down by a judge in the death of her sister-in-law, Rachel Quinney. (DELLA ROLLINS/Special to Sun Media)

It's time for the bogeyman to face the music.

Thomas Svekla will be handed an automatic life sentence June 16 after being convicted yesterday of second-degree murder in the slaying of prostitute Theresa Innes, 36.

The 40-year-old mechanic was also found guilty of interfering with human remains for transporting Innes's wire-bound and wrapped remains in a hockey bag from High Level to his sister's garage in Fort Saskatchewan in 2006.

However, Svekla was acquitted on charges of second-degree murder and interfering with human remains in the 2004 death of prostitute Rachel Quinney, 19.

Yesterday's ruling in a standing-room only courtroom was met with tears of relief, anger and several outbursts.

After Court of Queen's Bench Justice Sterling Sanderman left the room, Innes's brother stood and shouted at Svekla.

"Tom, why don't you have the courage to stand up and tell the truth for the first time in your life," said Mike Innes.

Quinney's sister-in-law Charlotte Lajimodiere then yelled something about the judge not having any daughters.

Delia Quinney appeared stunned that Svekla was not found guilty of her daughter's killing and mutilation and needed help leaving the courthouse, weeping and looking like she was on the verge of collapse.

When Sanderman ruled Svekla was guilty of Innes's slaying, her parents and brother began crying while the convicted killer simply looked down with his arms folded.

Outside court, the Innes family refused to talk to reporters and Mike Innes angrily grabbed his wife and pulled her away as she began speaking in front of TV cameras.

"We're happy, really happy," said Nataile Pangnanouvong. "But I feel bad for the Rachel Quinney family."

Lajimodiere, who spoke on behalf of the Quinney family, called it a "harsh verdict" and "a great letdown by the justice system" resulting in "great pain and great anger."

She said the family was torn apart during the trial and the verdict has not brought them any closer.

"There is still no justice for the Quinney family," she said. "It doesn't give us any justice."

Sanderman said the Crown failed to prove any link between Svekla and Quinney and while he found the fact Svekla found her body to be "highly suspicious behaviour," it was not evidence of any wrongdoing.

Regarding Innes, the judge "completely" rejected Svekla's claim that her body had been planted in his truck by someone trying to frame him and that he had "panicked" and transported it to Fort Saskatchewan.

"It's fanciful. It's ridiculous. It's preposterous and incapable of belief," said Sanderman. "It's the grand lie spun by him right from the beginning."

The judge ruled Svekla's ever-changing lies and "concoctions" told to police, coupled with his elaborate wrapping of the body to conceal it, led him to conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that he had murdered Innes.

The judge also noted separate admissions Svekla made to a friend and a co-worker that he believed were true.

The first was when Svekla asked a high-school friend to tell a high-school girlfriend that she had been the first person he had hurt and "the first to see the bogeyman."

The second was when Svekla told a fellow worker at the Fountain Tire in High Level after Innes had disappeared that he had a "dark past" and had "killed someone."

Testimony by more than 100 witnesses was heard since Svekla's trial began on Feb. 19, following several months of voir dire hearings to determine whether certain police evidence would be admitted.

He was charged in Innes's death after his sister found the hockey bag containing the remains in her garage and called police. Svekla had claimed the bag contained $800 worth of composting worms.

Quinney's naked body was found in a wooded farmer's field near Fort Saskatchewan in June 2004. Both of her breasts and parts of her genitalia had been removed.

Police had alleged Svekla killed Quinney earlier and interfered with her remains by mutilating her body and improperly disposing of it.

Court has heard Svekla told police he discovered Quinney's body while smoking crack with another prostitute.

The cause of death in both cases was undetermined.

From the above link, one of many stories. This about the infamous SSSSHHhhhh! He says to warn other killers, not to talk, or that it was to one killer, and mentions his dad, later on. Interesting, and shows there are more like him involved!!!( Anne Rule gets her 2 cents in..yeah!)

Murderer snagged spotlight with a finger on his lips
But even Svekla can't decide what his 'shhh' meant

Convicted killer and pedophile Thomas Svekla calls it the gesture that made him famous.

On May 11, 2006, four days after the RCMP found the body of Theresa Innes wrapped in a cocoon of plastic and wire and stored in a hockey bag in Svekla's possession, he made his first public appearance.

Prison guards led him in and out of Fort Saskatchewan provincial court for his first court date. A mass of news media cameras focused on him. Photographers call this type of shoot a "perp walk" and usually struggle to get a usable photograph because most accused people duck and hide their faces.

But not Svekla. When he came out, he looked right at the cameras, stopped, held up his index finger to his mouth and went "SRating 3."

He continued to mug for the cameras, looking out the back window of a police car, holding up his handcuffed hands and smiling and laughing.

Svekla's public display baffled investigators from Project Kare, the RCMP task force which handled the investigation.

Why had he acted in such a manner?

During his many months in jail, Svekla gave people different explanations for his behaviour that day.

One explanation from Svekla , who has always maintained his innocence, but hinted he knows the identity of the real killer, was that he was telling that person that he wasn't going to rat on him.

"Remember the gesture that got me famous?" Svekla asked a newspaper reporter in an October 2006 conversation, which unbeknownst to them was wiretapped.

"Yes," the reporter said. "Why did you do it?"

"Just to give people a sign that, you know, I'm gonna be keeping quiet, you know? Not saying anything."

Svekla expanded on this explanation to Project Kare investigator John Respet, saying his inspiration for the gesture came from a 1996 movie, At Close Range, starring Christopher Walken and Sean Penn. In the movie, Svekla said, Walken was a criminal who murdered his crew. Penn played Walken's son. "Sean Penn wound up testifying against his dad, right?" Svekla told Respet. "And in the movie, (Walken) goes like this, right?"

Svekla held up his finger to make the "shhh" gesture. "To be quiet, so he wouldn't rat him out."

Respet told him: "Everybody thought you were playing to the media. So it had nothing to do with the media?"

Svekla replied: "No. I just wanted to tell people that did that to that person (Innes) that you gotta keep quiet."

On another occasion with Respet, Svekla gave a second interpretation, that he had made the gesture to upset his father, George. Svekla had come down from High Level with his hockey bag containing Innes's body and was visiting with his parents, George and Emily. His dad got mad at him and kicked him out of the house. Svekla ended up staying with his sister, Donna Parkinson, who became suspicious about the hockey bag. She found the body inside and called police.

"That's the only reason I was smiling at the camera, too, at my dad, eh," Svekla said.

"Piss him off?" Respet asked.

"Piss him off," Svekla agreed. "I'll see you later, Dad. You got your wish, you know. He wanted me away."

"In this way, though?" Respet asked

"To be honest with you, I don't know," Svekla said. "He's more happier when I'm away. When I'm back, he's grumpy, so me being on camera is just my way of getting back at him there."

Yet another explanation came from a woman Svekla assaulted in her teens in the late 1980s. On July 22, 2006, Svekla called her from the Remand Centre and told her not to believe everything she heard in the media.

"Svekla claimed not to be a serial killer. He said he was laughing in the media because everyone thought he was a serial killer," Const. Kevin Kunetzki said in an affidavit regarding the conversation.

On the same day Svekla called his sister, Donna, who asked him why he had acted the way he did.

"Svekla said it was a joke because he is being blamed for something he didn't do," Kunetzki said. "(He) said he is going to sue when he gets out of jail."

American crime writer Ann Rule, an expert on homicide who has written 29 books on killers, says it's not uncommon for murderers to play up to the media.

Rule points to two notorious American killers, Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgway, the Green River Killer.

"They do enjoy the infamy. I would say infamy becomes them. They love the publicity," she says. "It made them feel important, when really these are very empty people."

Ridgway appeared to enjoy jousting with the police and telling them how clever he was, Rule said.

"He thought he was going to be infamous and a celebrity forever, but now he is all alone in a cell and nobody goes to see him."

I do believe that Svekla holds a wealth of information, on the disappearances of these women. It is time, and probably the best thing he can do for himself at this time. He has to speak up, concerning exactly what he knows. 8) 8) 8)

If he does, I doubt now he will open his mouth. I hope they have evidence in another case they can use to force him to trip himself with though. He seems like he wants to brag, but his lawyer probably put a zipper on that mouth.

He may also have received threats, and fears retaliation. He may get his in prison, hard to say, where they keep him. There are a lot of relatives of missing family, in prison, and they may try to deal with it there own way.

I understand he is in 23 lock up? I hope he does the right thing..... ???

The scary thought to me is this. Maybe he did only kill those 2 women? Maybe he was just trying to have it blamed on the real serial killer. Has Kare stopped working? No.

So there is a very good chance, that might be it. There is still a serial killer out there.

The one thing we never hear about is other girls saying they had seen him, or witnessed him doing anything to anyone else. Well, when he was young, but no STW's that I have heard had said anything.

WEll. a few spoke of their near misses with him, from the past. He has been locked up awhile now.He seemed to like to choke, or asphyxiate, and beat his women.

He may have killed these 2, but I wonder, to what extent his pedophillia went? I hope we hear more. Yes, there still is a serial killer, look at Brianna, Benwell. It is crazy Chris.. are you beginning to think we just have one? What about the female/male aspect. I shudder to think, but look at how many women, and kids have been charged with killing in the last year or more. ??? ???

I agree there is so much more to this. The switching off of roles, has a ring to it. It is very conceivable this is happening. I do wonder how many are connected to this group? In the last years, there appears to be an extreme abundance of of the wall killing, and group slayings.

I don't think that svekla just goes up to anyone on the street, and asks them to smoke some crack with him, unless he knew them, or met at some time. >:( >:( ::)

Since he has been in custody for 2 years, he will probably get a break on those days, so in fact it is possible he could be out in as little as 13 or 11 years depending on how much credit he gets. BUt then again, he may or may not get parole right away.

If he has done more crimes or had partners, I hope now he will open his mouth and say so. If not, I am sure they will not stop investigating this scum bag.

That is what I am hoping for, that, now he is locked up, for a long while, he will start talking on what he knows!!!

It would be good to explain his buddies, that he said helped him. Two to hold, one to beat. Or was he talking of other people? You can bet he holds a lot of answers, but he is scared sh!tless, of any retaliation.

His first day in jail, he was supposedly beat up 3 times, and when he got put in PC, he bragged, that, "No one can get me now!!!"

I wonder where he will do his time, they would be nuts to send him to another province. Also I hope he is spoken to by many profilers, investigators, of this type of crime. I want him to GIVE IT UP and CONFESS!

These crimes here have gone on and on for years, and years. >:( >:( >:(

W.T.F.??? This is nuts!!!This jerk is a killer! He should start talking on what he knows!

When I first heard of this GOOF"S appeal, I thought, OH, NO, not again! Face it Svekla, you are right now where you belong!!! Your hands are dirty, you friggin' diddler, with a penchant for killing STW'S, you make sure you grab the most vulnerable, don't you?

Who are you trying to save out there? You are doing the beef, but I know, as you said, it yourself, that it takes 3, 2 to hold down, and 1 to beat! So start talking...either way, you lose. You are nothing but a sniveling coward, ya need to be castrated, and you need to hear the screams of gal's every day of your life. >:( >:( >:( >:(
