Distinguishing Features: Balding, walks very erect, and has false teeth.
Clothing Worn at time of disapearance: Khaki shirt, green pants, tan oxfords, siwash wool sweater with a fish design, blue long sleeved t-shirt, and gold Timex watch.

Additional Information:
On the 4th of May, 1973, Martin MAIER, 63 years old, was last seen leaving the Prelate SK hotel at 1:00 a.m. MAIER was driving a 1971 Chevrolet half-ton, red with white half camper box, SK license F133013. Neither the vehicle or MAIER have ever been located, although extensive searches have been conducted.

This is a very odd case. His truck went missing too which makes me think someone may have taken his truck, or he fell into a river. Anyone who has anymore details about this case please either post it here or use the contact form on the top menu.

I did not know that about alzheimer's patients. Just north of there is a ferry crossing and that was my first re-action is that he must have drivin into the river or something like not realizing the ferry was closed and there is no bridge.

Also, just south of there is the desert. Wonder if he could have driven into a sand dune and got covered over?

He'd have driven right by the sand hills. I am sure they searched hard, but what if there was a sinkhole? It's a strange part of Sask.
