Hello All,

I am working on a new project putting together maps for each Province showing the known missing persons LKP(Last known Position) or a generic place holder if it is a general area.
Currently in progress is a map of New Brunswick which can be found here: NB Missing Map

Please feel free to take a look and let me know your thoughts.

If anyone is interested in assisting with their local Province or a specific province please send me a message and we can have a discussion on the process in place and where the data is being pulled from.

Current Legend:
Blue - Male
Deep Pink - Female
Caution Triangle - General Area, no specific LKP

A woman found dead in Moncton this week was the victim of a homicide, say Codiac Regional RCMP.

Candice Kennedy-Faguy, 35, was reported missing to police on Sunday, and her body was found Wednesday.

Police responded Wednesday afternoon to the report of a body being found on West Lane near Arden Street, behind the Moncton Hospital.

Police tape was put up at a pale green apartment house near the intersection.

RCMP arrested a 44-year-old man from Moncton on Thursday. He is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

Baily Phillips, who works with a client in the area and noticed the police on scene Wednesday, said she has always felt uneasy about working in the area.

"It's not good, there's always fighting," she said.

She said her client has decided to move because of the homicide.

"I feel unsafe," she said. "I wanted to go home the other day but I can't because it's my job."

Statement from the Family:

This is a statement the RCMP has been asked to share on behalf of the daughter and son of Jack Nutter. Mr. Nutter has been missing since 2007. Further information is available here - Police seek information on a 2007 missing person investigation

For more than ten years, our dad has been missing. The passing of time doesn't help the way we feel in regards to not knowing where our dad is. This time of year is even more difficult as it was the summertime when he was last seen. Some of our fondest memories of him was from the summertime. Our dad would often take our family on outings where we would have picnics, often near a river, so dad could sneak in a chance to fish which he loved to do.

Despite what some people might have you believe, it doesn't get any easier as each day passes. The not knowing what happened to him; where was he when he disappeared, who was he with, where is he now? These are all questions we ask every day. It is hard to put into words what we're feeling as there is so much emotion but we wouldn't want anyone to go through this.

You're always wondering when you see a familiar face, drive by his address, or a memory of him pops in your head, what could have possibly happened to him as he was a homebody. For him to disappear is completely out of character.

We know time has passed but someone knows what happened to our dad. We're pleading with anyone who knows anything in regards to dad at the time of his disappearance to come forward. What you think is insignificant could be a piece to the if you saw him at that time, we would be so grateful if you called the police or Crime Stoppers.

This is our statement, and at this time we are asking the media to respect our privacy. We have provided the RCMP with additional photos of our dad to share with the public and media in the hopes it will help jog someone's memory.

Thank you to everyone for sharing this so that the person or people who know something may see it and help us find our dad.

After two days scouring an abandoned farm in Bellevue, police and searchers did not find Cortney Lake or any evidence relating to her disappearance.

Five search and rescue teams with 122 people fanned out into the fields of Smallwood Farm, looking for any clues about the 24-year-old mother's suspected homicide.

In the end, the search turned up nothing.

"I know a lot of the province are looking for answers and waiting for answers on this," said Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Sgt. Paul Didham. "We are too, so if anybody has any more information out there that can assist us on this file, please give us a call."

Lake's aunt, Glenda Power, said the family was waiting, "stomach in knots," for the search to conclude.

In the waning daylight hours, Didham told reporters they had covered off the entire area, believed to be around 100 acres in total.

If anything turned up before the end of the day, searchers would be back on Sunday, he said. But that doesn't appear to be the case.
Search teams not giving up yet

Search co-ordinator Harry Blackmore said if the RNC need his men and women again, they'll be back ? but the impending winter may hamper future search efforts.

"If they call, we go," he said. "But if we're out here looking for evidence on the ground, and the snow has covered it, it's a waste of time for us to try to do it."

The crews spent about five days planning the search of the farm property, which included fields, forests and buildings.

"This is methodical, the way these searches are done," Didham said. "[These searchers] are highly trained. They're experienced. They're the best in the field at what they're doing.

"Every step that they take and every piece of earth that they move is done methodically. It's done piece by piece, which is a reason why it's taken two days to do this area."

The search was the result of new information obtained by police, but the RNC has not divulged what the tip was.

The farm was last used in 2014, but now sits empty atop a vista of Bellevue beach.

Didham praised the people who helped search Friday and Saturday.

"It's a lot of people. It's a lot of commitment, and we really appreciate it and I'm sure the family appreciates it as well."

Thanks JB, I attempted to correct the spelling error.

It makes me wonder if there was unclear video footage (although he is 6'6" which isnt a common height.) or if there is simply a credit card purchase at that location which leads them to believe he was there etc.

Based on my googling it shows Red Deer Alberta
