MARISSA SCOTT, 17, the St. John Police say that Marissa was reported missing on February 15. If anyone has any information, please contact the St. John Police, St. John, New Brunswick.  A photo is available of Marissa on another site, I couldn't post it. Maybe someone may try to put her photo on here.

Every day at 11:00 the TV show Crimewatch Daily comes on with Chris Hanson. It is on PEACH channel, the times maybe different in your area, I am in Cape Breton, so your time could be earlier.  I put this on here, because today the case of the Liknes family murder and little Nathan was on. There were details given that were so horrendous, which I never knew about. Only the people who were at the trial would know the details of some of the things that were the most horror you could ever imagine. If you go on the site on your computer and write in "Crimewatch, you can watch episodes and possibly you may want to check this out.  You may like this program, it is on weekdays every morning.  Just want to let you know if you are interested,  They also had another Canadian case on which did happen related to the Movie murder, as we call it, horrible crimes and so terrible that those crimes happened in Canada.   :o :o :o :o :o :o

TWO COLD CASES HAVE BEEN PLACED ON THE LIST IN HALIFAX FOR $150,00.00 TO BE PAID FOR INFORMATION AND CONVICTION INTO THE DISAPPEARANCE OF TWO MEN.  ONE IS IAN MACKEIGAN, I do remember that case. I do believe he was originally from Cape Breton, and he was living in Halifax with a friend,  but he went to an establishment called "The Palace", I think it is 30 years ago, not sure on that, it was 11:00 p.m. in the evening and he was never seen again. He did own a vehicle and it was never found. The other young man, I did not get his name, it was on so quickly, he left to walk a couple of blocks to a bar and was never seen again. These men were very young at the time, late teens. This was on CTV news last evening. I do believe Ian's thread is on here somewhere.

I had no way to tell members that a program is on today Sept. 21/16 on Dr. Phil and there is an interview with Terri Horman, the step-mom of Kyron, this is a new interview. It is on twice today at 11:00 Atlantic time and also at 4:00 on CTV. I will be watching this p.m., I have an appointment this morning. So I am excited to watch this program. I would also like anyone who knows when certain programs are coming on to maybe put them on this thread.  There is also a lot of focus lately on the Jon Benet Ramsey case and I just saw a note on the news where the Ramsey family is sueing because of a documentary shown on Jon Benet.  Just for your information, if you are interested to watch these shows.  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Because Kyron's thread is no longer here, that is why I started this topic. Thanks.

USA & Other / Vanessa Marcotte, Aug 8/2016 Murdered, Princeton, Mass.
« on: August 20, 2016, 11:23:51 AM »
Vanessa Marcotte, 27 years old was murdered on Aug. 8, 2016 in Princeton, Mass.  She was visiting her mom, she had travelled from New York, where she was employed with Google. She went for a run at 1:00 p.m. and never returned. Her body was found later that day . Her hands and feet were burned. I don't know how to put the link on here, but if someone could just tag into there and put the news story on here. There were 600 tips called in and as yet there are no arrests. The police indicated they felt it was a "random act" of violence. ]Apparently this area is not known for violent crimes and the residents were quite shocked at this crime. Her funeral was this week and the family and friends were shocked at the violence that happened here. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Vanessa, a beautiful life taken away.  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I haven't commented on this case for a while, but did see a case tonight that seemed similar in the way he disappeared. I wanted to post it on there, but cannot find it. How do I find a case when I can't remember the name of the city he was from. Can someone tell me how to get that case up so I can comment on similarity in the disappearance of Kyron and this other case. It is just a comparison, the crime has been solved, but the body was never found. Thanks.

General Discussion / REFUGEE CRISIS AND CANADA 2015
« on: November 30, 2015, 05:12:14 PM »
Just a comment related to the refugees who are going to shortly be coming into Canada, any day now. I just saw on the evening news a story about the expected refugees for New Brunswick. I was quite surprised to see that many had donated all kinds of clothing and blankets for the upcoming influx of refugees. That is very kind of the people in New Brunswick and I am sure others will do so across Canada. However, I was very surprised to hear that they are asking the citizens of New Brunswick to donate food. What in the heck is going on there. I understood that when these refugees came to Canada that Trudeau had allotted 100 Million dollars to care for and support the people that are coming in, that this was to care for them. Now this is a drain on every citizen in NB. and that is just the first place they are coming. The people of NB should not have to feed these people. Where is the money from the 100 M that was given to support the program. There are many people in the area that depend on food banks all winter, this is going to be one heck of a mess, if Trudeau doesn't get some funds to the provinces that are taking in the refugees and there should be a request at once for aid from the Federal Government to Ontario, Montreal and New Brunswick, which have been named the spots for the most of the refugees. So there it is, the ordinary person is going to have to take food from their own cupboards, that is what was on the news this evening. Not acceptable to most Canadians.

I just want to put this thread on there to mention these women that were so brutally taken by gun fire on a day that was beautiful and full of life, for no reason at all. I am not posting any names here, because it is not in our newspaper, their names, but I did see on the news about their lives and their professions. All giving a lot to society. One of the victim's was very afraid of the killer, she even wore an item to notify if she was in trouble, but what good did it do, nothing?????? You know why, because the police did not take a search warrant and go through this man's home for fire arms, he was a violent individual. He was out 48 hours after being released from jail and murdered three people. Come on, where is the justice. The police have to take these cases more seriously. They have to make sure that anyone charged with a violent crime does not have access to a fire arm. He was just waiting to get out of jail, so he could carry out his deadly attack on these women. I do hope that every police department in Canada is aware of the consequences of not doing a search of a violent person's home, they have the rights to do that. It is usually written in their release " not to own any fire arm". So why did this crazy killer have a fire arm. In the US and Canada now, nobody is doing anything. And you know what, it's usually the women that are shot and killed. Well, I can tell you right now, if I was afraid of any man that much, as one of these ladie's were, I'd have a 357 magnum pistol and you know what, if he stepped on my doorstep or was anywhere near me, I'd shoot him without blinking an eye. Women are going to have to arm themselves against anyone they are afraid of. To hell, I'll serve the time. If he's on my property and he's not supposed to be and if he's supposed to stay away from me. He is a dead man. That sounds harsh, well being dead and six feet under is too.  :( :( :( :( :( :(

General Discussion / Re: Canada Goose killed in Ontario 2015
« on: May 17, 2015, 11:37:12 AM »
I don't know how to put a link to the story on here related to the Canada goose murdered as was stated in a news story. It was referred to on Sonia V's thread. I didn't feel it appropriate to continue the discussion related to the word "murder" for the defenseless animal. We don't know the details of how the animal died. So the police were so upset by a calm setting and all, that they decided to use the word "murder".  It is horrible when this kind of crime happens and it also leads to abuse of humans sometimes.  If someone hurts or kills animals, it usually sometimes escalates to harming persons.  I do hope they get the person who committed this crime and maybe a couple of years would be a good sentence, to drive the message home to others.   :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Just a note to say that the many cases we have commented on over the past couple of years and the ones that have not been even a bit concluded and solved. Do you ever think once in a while about certain cases. Like I never forget Kyron, the little boy who went missing several years ago now, so many years just fly by. To think that nobody knows where and what happened to that young boy, is so very sad. And the many also who were never found, never knowing what happened to them. A silent prayer to all those connected to anyone today that is missing and there is no answers. God bless all who are going through days of wondering and that there may never be an answer. Thinking of you today in the piece of your heart that is missing. God bless. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

General Discussion / TUNNEL FOUND IN TORONTO/FEB, 2015
« on: March 03, 2015, 04:40:21 PM »
Just want to make a thread here related to the bunker found in Toronto. I find it very unusual that there is no charges being laid. I also feel that there was a great deal of sweat to make this bunker. Apparently by looking at it, it was done very professional. There were proper lighting, sump pump, generator and great care taken to assemble this so called "bunker" This was on the news for almost a week. The parties did not  come forward on their own, someone else told who they were. We do not know who they were. The police are saying no charges are being laid, that it is up to the property owner. I believe that if you or I did this anywhere in Canada and it was found out, we'd have our names plastered all over TV. We would be in hand cuffs. We would have to give a damned good explanation as to what we did this for. I do believe that there was a big ulterior motive in this project. I believe they were going to abduct someone, possibly for ransom. I thought about our Prime Minister, political officials, anyone of importance. They could have been going to abduct young women and terrorize them. What other reason could they have for doing all of this work underground. It does not seem logical or acceptable to anyone, the reason the police are giving. So tell us what the personal reasons were, we were not told. The police suck this up, are you kidding me. I am angry that we were not told more of the reasons. There are thousands missing in Canada. Why do we not know what was going on here. Is some big shot the father of one of these men????? What are their names,  is it SMITH OR ARE THERE ANY MOHAMMED'S in those names. I am very upset by the whole damned thing. And feel the Canadian public has a right to know the names and ages and whatever the personal reasons were. They owe everyone an explanation. And the police have no right to tell us it was for personal reasons. That is my opinion, I am angry, because I know if it was anyone I know or myself, we'd be in deep trouble for doing something like this. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Is there any way we could get a list on here of murder cases that were unsolved in Ottawa., at least for the last ten years. I feel that this guy Busch is possibly guilty of more than he is charged with. :o :o :o :o :o

I did notice that there is a total section for murders in Ottawa. Just wanted to know if there were any that fit the profile of the three that were unsolved for quite some time.  I tried to remove this, but could not.

She has been known to  travel outside of the Cape Breton area.  She is described as: 5'6" , weight: 145 pds.  Brown eyes and Brown hair.  If anyone has seen are know the whereabouts of Christmas, please contact the following numbers:  Cape Breton Regional Police:  902-563-5151 ;

A lone terrorist in the city of Quebec has killed one soldier and injured another. This is heartbreaking to know that this has happened in our country. We have dedicated military that have signed up to serve and protect and on their day off shopping, they are run down in a violent act of aggression. My thoughts and prayers to the family of these soldiers. It is going to be devastating to know that they died this way in their own country, a peaceful place for all Canadians. I do hope that there is great care taken to weed out the enemy that is among our true Canadians. If anyone has any knowledge of anyone who would do this type of violence against our own, please call your local police department or call crime stoppers. Nobody deserves this type of violence in our country. We have so much to be thankful for and should not have this madness on our doorstep. Prayers to the fellow soldiers and the families and friends of the soldiers who were so violently attacked. :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
