Kimberly Cruickshank has been missing for nearly a year now.  Some ground and air searches have taken place and it was originally believed that Ms. Cruickshank may have been in Calgary but no one has reported seeing her.

Her family/friends have established a website - http://www.findkim.ca/ (http://www.findkim.ca/)

A FB group has also been established - PleaseHelpFindKimCruickshank

As the days and weeks pass the family of a missing Regina woman continues to hang on to the hope they might still see Kimberly Cruickshank again.

Monday marks exactly six months ago since now 28-year-old Kimberly Cruickshank was last seen in the city by a neighbour on March 23. It might not be getting any easier, but Kim’s sister Kristen still believes she’s out there.

“We’re staying strong, hopeful,” Kristen said.

“I find myself, on nights when the stars are really bright, I look up and it might sound silly but I do, I try to talk to her, if she’s still out there.”

She explained how Regina Police have been unable to provide any new information regarding Kim’s whereabouts for months. In May, a search team combed through an area of the city’s northeast looking for any clues. Nothing turned up.

Police even expanded their search to Calgary on account of Cruickshank having friends in that area. Again, nothing has turned up.

The fact there’s no trace of Kim is taking a toll on her family.

“We’ve actually started counselling and therapy, waiting to get into see a pyschiartrist and just trying to keep going in life. It’s really tough,”admitted Kristen.

Kristen, her mom, and another sister live in Ontario. They still try and make frequent trips out to Saskatchewan and hand out flyers every chance they get. They’ve even organized electronic billboards to show Kim’s picture in Regina, Saskatoon and Calgary.

Kristen has a simple message to pass along.

“Tell everybody in your life that you love; tell them you love them. Tell them how special they are to you. Love them while they’re here because you never know.”

If you have any whereabouts on Cruickshank’s disappearance, contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or your local police service.

REGINA – It’s been a year since a 27-year-old Regina woman disappeared and her family in Ontario says they’re still no closer to finding out what happened to her.

It was March 22nd of 2013 that Kimberly Ann Cruickshank last spoke to her mother, Brenda, via Skype.

She was reported missing soon after and an extensive police effort failed to turn up any traces of her.

The Regina Police have confirmed to Global News that this case is still listed in police records as an ongoing missing person case.

The distraught mother says she’s been in touch with victims’ services and counsellors to try to get past the pain.

she had been hanging out with an unsavoury crowd before she disappeared. I hope police are keeping a very close eye on this unsavoury crowd!

This is new to me and it's great to see they have the killer incarcerated finally. I hope they have all their evidence bundled up well because he is the very likely candidate for all 3. He has destroyed countless families. My heart goes out to all of the families. :(
