Repeat: Missing Person - Request for Information

PLEASE NOTE: There is some additional information to add to Mr. TOSCANO’s clothing description and a clarification to the date he was last seen. The missing person’s report was made on the 12th of December, but he was last seen leaving his residence on Sunday the 9th of December.

The Regina Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing man. Thirty-nine year old Matteo Joseph TOSCANO, was last seen leaving his home in the 2700 block of Reynolds Street, on Sunday, December 9th. The family is concerned for his welfare and would like any assistance in locating him.

TOSCANO is possibly wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, denim blue jeans, a pair of black shoes, and a grey Nike toque. TOSCANO is also believed to be wearing a beige winter parka-type jacket (hip-length with fur lining on hood). TOSCANO is described as male, white, 6’5” and about 180 lbs, with brown hair and moustache. He has brown eyes and wears eyeglasses.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Matteo TOSCANO is asked to contact the police at 777-6500.

Does any one know if there have been any updates on Matteo?  I have had no luck finding any?

39-year-old Matteo Joseph Toscano, who had been the subject of a missing person investigation, was found dead in Regina on Thursday. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

REGINA -- A Regina man who had been the subject of a missing person investigation was found dead on Thursday.
Matteo Joseph Toscano, 39, was found deceased in the Douglas Park Hill area, according to a Regina Police Service news release issued on Friday. After carrying out an investigation with the coroner, police concluded that the death was not suspicious.
Earlier in December police had asked the public for information on Toscano’s whereabouts. He had not been heard from since Dec. 12.
