Edmonton, Alberta The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, in the interest of public safety, is issuing the following information and warning in regard to the release of Serge TSHIYA TSHIYOYO from Edmonton Institution on 2012/10/13, upon completion of his sentence, having served an aggregate sentence of 5 years and 5 months for Break and Enter with Intent, Kidnapping, Assault, and Sexual Assault.


Serge TSHIYA TSHIYOYO is described as a 27 year-old, Black, male, 180 cm (70.9 in), 105 kg (231 lbs), with brown eyes and black hair and will be residing in the Hinton, Alberta area.

Serge TSHIYA TSHIYOYO has been convicted of violent offences, including Uttering Threats, Forcible Entry, Break and Enter with Intent, Kidnapping, Assault, and Sexual Assault.

The RCMP is issuing this information and warning after careful deliberation and consideration of all related issues, including privacy concerns, in the belief that it is clearly in the public interest to inform the members of the community of the release of Serge TSHIYA TSHIYOYO. The RCMP believe that there is a risk of significant harm to the health and safety of the public, and in particular, adult females, both known and unknown to TSHIYOYO.

Members of the public are advised that the intent of the process is to enable members of the public to take suitable precautionary measures and not to embark on any form of vigilante action. Anyone believing that a crime has been or is about to be committed is encouraged to call police. If the matter is felt to be of an urgent nature please call 911 to report the location circumstances.
