..... just came by to thank you all for the support, and for understanding the fight to keep searching for Derek's remains, for answers and for justice ....

If anyone reading this has any information and you have been waiting to make the call to the RCMP investigators thinking that someone else would come forward, it's time you call now, because sadly others have not.  If you think what you heard, saw or know was just 'nothing' let the RCMP make that decision, just pass it along.

You can call Sgt Wood at the North District Major Crimes unit at 1(250) 649 2924 he will keep your information in confidence.

If you don't feel comfortable, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
You can also walk into any public Internet cafe or library and log onto the www.bccrimestoppers.com and send an anonymous email with the information.

As there have been many missing men in the Lower Mainland and many crimes here in BC, if you have any information on any crime please make the call, as I know that the other families are waiting each day as well.

Thanks,
Leeanne

Hello Everyone,

It's been 2 years, 3 months and 22 days since my brother Derek was last seen alive.

I know that there are many faithful people who are here on this site and I'm just asking once again for your support, good thoughts and prayers to come my families way.

It was last in the media on the 2 year anniversary date of Derek's being killed.  On New Years Day this year 2010 , the RCMP confirmed what my family had suspected from day one, Derek was killed in Bridge Lake.

Derek's case (as well as all other 'missing' persons cases) is still an 'open' investigation.

Open and being actively worked on are two different stories.

I am asking for your prayers that Derek's murder will be solved. Pray that his remains are located so that my parents, and my other brothers will be able to get some sense of peace. Pray that those four persons involved (him/her/them) are arrested and get a day in court for each of his/her/their roles in the murder of Derek. If you have any information on what happened to Derek Kelly please call your local police department, or Crime Stoppers in your area - Crime Stoppers in British Columbia is 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
If you have any information on any other missing/murdered person(s) call the number and help another family get the answers they need.

D, I miss you very much (we all do) and are thankful for the times we had with you. May each of those involved be haunted by your blue eyes and great smile for the rest of his/her/their lives. You will always live on in our hearts !

Thanks,
Leeanne

I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part. God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart

Keepingfaith, I am so sorry about your brother's death. I know that you are getting some answers and at least now you know that he was killed, as you had suspected. I truly hope and pray for your family and that justice is forthcoming and that all who are responsible will certainly have their day in court and be convicted of this horrible crime. Keep us posted and we certainly are encouraging you to go forward and get your brother's murder solved. My thoughts are with you and the family. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
