Winnipeg police believe she may be in Edmonton area.The public is being asked to help Winnipeg police locate a missing 37-year-old woman who may be unaware of an urgent family situation. Today, police put out another plea for information to find Myrna Letandre because her mother is critically ill. Cops released details March 5 about her disappearance but she has not been located.
Letandre has acquaintances in Alberta and British Columbia and she may have left the province to visit them, police said.
She was last seen Oct. 5, 2006, near Memorial Boulevard in Winnipeg?s downtown.
Letandre is described as aboriginal, 5-foot-3, and 95 pounds. She has brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. She has a large surgery scar on her back and walks with leg braces or a cane.
