For me, I don't think there's a link between the Roberta Ferguson case in 1988 and the Lisa Marie Young case.  I believe the main suspect in the Young case  would have been too young at the time of Roberta's disappearance - it is possible that he may have just graduated from high school in 2002, four or so months prior to Lisa Young's disappearance.  Acc. to various info on the net, he now "works from home", in a different province, at a telemarketing business which could be described as dodgey at best, and apparently, has/had been receiving financial assistance from his granny, at least in 2006.

There is a pretty good case for another suspect in Roberta's murder.

The witness described the man in the car as average height, with blond or light brown hair and a prominent jaw

This same description keeps popping up in other cases where Terry Arnold is the prime suspect.

what an awesome write-up solvy.... I do hope this downtown neighborhood will keep talking and backing the parents.  Who knows!  ..maybe one of these days, somebody will walk into one of these businesses and make the "right remark" or give the "right lead" to find this dear girl.  Maybe somebody noticed something back then ...not even realizing it is important... every little detail about Lisa Marie's night out is important.  ...and who would not notice this car wherever it drove to, or stopped at.  Lisa's story has to be kept circulating; it's not over until it's over.
