I have been looking into cheryls disappearance and can find zilch about her.  I think my next move will be to contact the rcmp in grande prarie to ask if the case is solved or ongoing.

Wanted to check with others here, who have made contact with le.  Was the outcome positive, or did you feel like you were blown off?  If I am not related to Cheryl would they give me any info at all?

I am hoping things will go positive, but I need to know ahead of time if I may get a cold shoulder.  Any advice?

One time I contacted Kare about a name I spotted in Saskatchewan newspaper article, the name of a missing woman in Alberta, from a Kare fanout I saw and entered into my database but never posted publicly. Kare called me back to say the girl was located in Alberta and can't tell me if the woman in Saskatchewan was the same one or not. Suffice to say, I had not seen a located fan out so as her being missing was not public info, neither was the fact she was located.

The officer questioned me on the phone about how I knew about her, how I saw the fan out etc. I don't think police like to share information about there cases with anyone. But if it's the question about whether a case is still unsolved, or if a person is still missing, that should be public info. I don't see any harm in calling GP Police and asking if Cheryl is still misisng.

There is a lack of updates and I think any time we can bring a case back to the police's attention, like on an anniversary or something then we should, it might help.

Thank you for asking our opinion.

Des I found the same thing with KARE. I would get the fan outs and contact them about possible sightings others sent me only to be asked where I got their fan out! If this woman's  case was no longer seen in future fanouts I think it is a pretty fair assumption it was her who was found. I don't know why Edmonton and Winnipeg Police Services are so difficult to work with. I will be visiting Edmonton in the next few weeks.  Glad I dont have to stay too long or I am afraid I might find myself in trouble lol.
Am just staying long enough to meet Carol Lynn and do an interview. A part of me wishes I were there longer though. There are a few I would like to check out while there.
